NACAC Annual Conference

Below are future dates and locations for the NACAC Conference:

81st NACAC Conference
Columbus (OH) – September 18 – 20, 2025

82nd NACAC Conference
Minneapolis (MN) – October 8 – 10, 2026

83rd NACAC Conference
Kansas City (MO) - September 23-25, 2027

84th NACAC Conference
Atlanta (GA) - October 5-7, 2028

NACAC NEXT Program

NEXT is a leadership development opportunity. It is a one-year program. Each year, a cohort of participants will convene in-person on Thursday morning during the NACAC Conference. NEXT participants will also join virtual quarterly sessions throughout the year focused on leadership topics, presented by NACAC staff and volunteer leaders.

Criteria for Selection

The selection committee for NACAC NEXT will consider the following criteria when evaluating applications:

  • NACAC membership is required.
  • Participants must have current involvement in TACAC as a committee or program chair, active committee member, or TACAC volunteer.
  • TACAC executive board members are not eligible for participation.
  • Participants must have institutional support to attend the NACAC conference and to attend quarterly virtual sessions during the year.
  • Participants must first request financial assistance from their institution; financial support from TACAC is possible. 
  • Up to 3 participants will be selected. 

Expectations and Encouragements for Participants

  • Participants will attend the NACAC Conference and quarterly virtual sessions throughout the year.
  • Participants will act as mentors for the following cohort.
  • Participants are strongly encouraged to present at the TACAC Annual Conference within one (1) year of NEXT participation.
  • Participants are strongly encouraged to work together as a cohort in conjunction with other TACAC board members traveling with association funding in order to share out information.

2026 NEXT application will open early February 2026.

NACAC’s Guiding the Way to Impact (GWI) conference is aimed at secondary, postsecondary, IEC, and CBO college admission professionals committed to championing the needs of diverse students within the college admission process.
