Membership

The Texas Association for College Admission Counseling (TACAC) offers outstanding professional development and networking opportunities for professionals who work with students in the transition from secondary to post-secondary education. TACAC professionals learn and participate in many programs and events that provide opportunities to enhance your skills and information to help you counsel your students more effectively. Membership in the Association is a privilege made available to eligible institutions and individuals. Members shall support the vision of the association:

The membership year is September 1 - August 31.
Membership dues are $35 for primary members of institutions or organizations, each linked employee of institutions or organizations, and all individual members.
Membership rates will increase to $55 beginning August 1, 2024.

Renewal FAQs

Payment Policy:

    • Payment is due upon receipt.
    • Payment may be made by check or credit card only; purchase orders are not accepted.
    • Failure to pay will result in a lapse of membership or cancellation unless communication is received.
    • Memberships are non-refundable.
    • Memberships purchased by an institution or organization may be transferred due to employment changes.
    • Any request to change payment method will incur a $15 processing fee per member.
